THE FESTIVAL MOVES HOUSE (BUT NOT ITS SKIN)
It already happened in Pianello (after the first editions in its hometown of Castel San Giovanni), it happened in Nibbiano and in Zorlesco. And it’s happening again this year, after moving from Salsomaggiore, which hosted it for a remarkable 18 editions, from 2007 to 2025: the Festival Beat is tough as nails and is about to face yet another fresh start.
The new home is called Cremona, and the enthusiasm is the same as ever—actually, even greater. Some had written it off for dead, yet here it is rising again, like a phoenix, stronger than before: Festival Beat is alive and in spectacular shape. Just take a look at the lineup—simply stunning: Jon Spencer, Allah-Las, The Mummies, Billy Childish, Liam Watson—just to name a few of the biggest names. Try to find another lineup like this, if you can.
The 32nd edition of our Festival (or 34 years, if we count the double COVID break) presents itself in every way as a brand-new beginning. Cremona has geared up to welcome the Festival crowd, and we’re sure this new location will soon win the hearts of those who, year after year, experience that warm summer weekend as one of the most anticipated moments of the year.
The Festival Beat staff went above and beyond to make the 2026 edition a true relaunch: mission accomplished, no doubt about it.
For this—and for a hundred other reasons—WELCOME TO CREMONA!
