Duncan Taylor traces its origins back to 1938 in Glasgow, where the company initially traded in casks of Scotch whisky from the finest distilleries. It now owns one of the largest private collections of vintage and rare whiskies. For over 40 years, the Duncan Taylor team has been experimenting with maturing whisky in smaller casks with great success, creating the Octave range. Duncan Taylor is also credited with reating the Single Grain category. Today, the company distributes these fine whiskies through an impressive range of award-winning brands, all bottled at its headquarters in Huntly.
