What to expect
The Tiramisù World Cup is coming to the Foro Vinario, at the foot of the beautiful Moasca Castle on July 4th! Secure your spot in the Tiramisù World Cup and prepare your best tiramisù, competing with other dessert lovers for the title of the world’s most famous sweet: you could be the next Champion!
You can choose to compete in the Original Recipe category, the Creative Recipe category, or both.
Each table will host a maximum of 10 participants. The best competitor from each table will earn a direct spot in the TWC Semifinal, which will take place in Treviso on October 11th.
Remember: on Sunday, July 5th, an additional non-elimination competition will take place, the Stage Final, reserved for the winners of the previous day. Competitors will compet to become the Champion of the
Monferrato Selections. Regardless of the result, all qualified competitors will remain Semifinalists for the Grand Final in Treviso.
Two recipes
The ORIGINAL RECIPE requires the use of six essential ingredients: ladyfingers, mascarpone, eggs (egg yolk is mandatory, egg white is optional), coffee, cocoa powder, and white sugar.
The CREATIVE RECIPE requires four mandatory ingredients: mascarpone, eggs (egg yolk is mandatory, egg white is optional), coffee, and cocoa powder — plus up to three additional ingredients of the competitor’s choice and at their own expense. As for the ladyfingers and sugar (which will still be provided by the Organization along with the mandatory ingredients), the contestant may choose to replace the ladyfingers with another type of biscuit or sponge cake, and the white sugar with an alternative sweetener (at the competitor’s expense).
