On Saturday, September 12th, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM, over 30 Barolo
producers will be the protagonists of a walk around tasting, which will wind through the
characteristic streets of the medieval center of Castiglione Falletto (CN), in the beating
heart of the Langhe region, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the UNESCO World
Heritage vineyards and hills of Barolo. Admission is free and open to everyone. To taste
the wines, you can purchase a tasting pass for € 35.00 per person, which includes
unlimited tastings of all featured wines.
The day will kick off with an exclusive preview to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the
Strada del Barolo: “The 20th Anniversary Lounge, Exclusive Barolo 2006 Tasting”.
This journey back in time offers participants the rare privilege of tasting 5 Barolo DOCG
labels from the 2006 vintage, an exceptional harvest that yielded wines of extraordinary
longevity, now reaching the absolute peak of their evolution after 20 years of aging. The
experience will be led by the expert guidance of Sandro Minella, with the winemakers
themselves present in the room to share their personal stories about the 2006 vintage,
the challenges faced in the vineyards, and their memories of the harvest.
