On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Teatro Remondini in Bassano del Grappa hosts the theatrical show "Gabriella and the Girls. The Story of Tina Anselmi", a work that celebrates the life and political commitment of one of the most important figures in Italian history.

The show retraces a crucial moment for women's rights in Italy: the night between 8 and 9 December 1977, when two young workers, Lina and Irene, decide to occupy the spinning mill where they work to ask for the approval of the Anselmi Law, which establishes equal pay for men and women. Through their stories, the audience is guided to discover the extraordinary figure of Tina Anselmi, the first woman to hold the role of minister of the Italian Republic and a symbol of courage, emancipation and civil commitment.

In an era in which gender equality is an increasingly central theme, this show aims to be an opportunity to rediscover the value of Tina Anselmi and her contribution to the history of our country.
