The Great River, the protagonist of a unique sensory experience.
On Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th, 2025, the evocative setting of Motonautica Parmense in Sacca di Colorno (PR) hosts Padus Mirabilis, the great Po River festival. The event is part of the Festival del Po©, a project that promotes the river as a natural, cultural, and touristic heritage, in collaboration with the riverside areas.

Now in its fifth edition, Padus Mirabilis is an immersive experience that combines nature, food and wine, holistic wellness, and local culture, celebrating the river's identity through workshops, cooking demonstrations, markets, live music, tastings, and themed meetings.

Water and Milk: The 2025 Theme
This year's theme is the symbolic encounter between water and milk, two primordial elements that speak of life, nourishment, and the profound bond between humanity and the landscape.

At the heart of the program is the Po Pantry, a tribute to local cheeses: Parmigiano Reggiano, Gorgonzola, Toma Piemontese, Quartirolo, and Caprino, all the way to refined cheeses aged with chestnuts, juniper, and hay. The public can participate in guided tastings in collaboration with ONAF and ONAV, paired with wines from the river areas.

Un Po d’Oriente: well-being and spirituality
The event also offers space for relaxation with Un Po d’Oriente, an area dedicated to holistic practices, yoga, harmonious sounds, and mind-body rebalancing. A journey through the energy of autumn to slow down and rediscover yourself, in touch with the nature of the Great River.
