Medieval Games of South Tyrol

A tailor-made ticketing platform for an international event

The Medieval Games of South Tyrol are one of the largest historical reenactment events in the Alpine region, featuring more than 2,000 reenactors from 13 countries and an international audience made up of families and enthusiasts.

Since 2018, we have been working with the organization of the Medieval Games, using Clappit as the ticketing platform for the complete management of sales, experiences and access control.

The solution

We developed a fully customized private label, consistent with the visual identity of the event and available in Italian and German, fully mobile responsive.

The platform allows users to manage, in a single transaction:

- fiscal tickets for daily admissions and passes

- non-fiscal products, such as overnight stays in pilgrim tents

- free workshop bookings (falconry, combat training, musical instruments)

The audience experience

We designed a smooth and fast purchasing process, requiring only the data strictly necessary to deliver the service.

At the end of the transaction, users receive via email:

- admission tickets

- vouchers related to the selected experiences

Operational control for organizers

Thanks to our reporting tools and the box office web app, organizers have a constant overview of sales and can manage complimentary tickets, reservations and on-site ticket sales.

We also provide:

- complete box office stations equipped with certified fiscal printers

- our access control system for tickets, passes, vouchers and workshop bookings

- Zebra devices with SIM cards and the Clappit app installed, ensuring high performance even in high-attendance scenarios

A project that demonstrates how a flexible and integrated ticketing platform can support complex, international, high-attendance events, simplifying both the audience experience and the organizers’ operations.
