Il Matricomio is a theatrical comedy duo formed by Neapolitan spouses Jack Alvino (1976, Gen X) and Valentina Aurino (1981, Millennial), actors, authors and creators who portray married life, cohabitation and the dynamics of contemporary relationships with irony and authenticity.

From Real Life to an Artistic Project

Jack and Valentina have known each other since childhood and have been married for many years.
Both with a solid theatrical background, after several experiences on stage they decided to transform their personal and artistic journey into a shared project.

In 2016, Il Matricomio was officially born, with the aim of bringing to the web and to the theatre a kind of comedy capable of making audiences laugh while allowing them to recognize themselves in everyday situations of life as a couple.

Success on the Web and Social Media

Success came quickly thanks to videos published on Facebook and YouTube, particularly with formats such as Il TG di Casa, which went viral for their direct, realistic and unfiltered language.

Their sketches portray small and major domestic conflicts, habits, quirks and relationship misunderstandings, transforming them into an ironic and shared narrative.

Theatre, Publishing and Audience Connection

Alongside their online activity, Jack Alvino and Valentina Aurino brought Il Matricomio to the theatre, where the direct relationship with the audience further strengthens the emotional bond that distinguishes them.

In 2019, they published the book La misura dell’amore (DeAgostini), a semi-serious guide to the challenges of married life, further consolidating their relationship with an increasingly loyal and engaged community.
