Automated ticketing for high-attendance cultural festivals

Scrittorincittà is one of Italy’s leading cultural events dedicated to literature, held every year in November in Cuneo.

A project promoted by the Municipality of Cuneo, in collaboration with the Province of Cuneo and the Piedmont Region, organized by the Department of Culture and the Civic Library.

For the 2023 edition (November 15–19), the organizers chose Clappit to completely renew their ticketing management after experiencing performance issues with their previous online sales system.

The challenge

The goal was to efficiently manage:

✔️ a stable and scalable system capable of handling high traffic peaks

On-site sales and operational support

For on-site sales, we provided fully equipped box office stations, including:

✔️ certified fiscal printers
✔️ PCs and POS terminals for electronic payments
✔️ support for Satispay, widely used locally

The project was completed with:

✔️ customer service support during and after ticket sales
✔️ assistance with mass communications to attendees
✔️ on-site operational support during the event launch phase
