Gusta Cherasco: The square of wine and food meets Sicily and awaits you in Cherasco (CN), Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October 2023.

The event will take place in the prestigious setting of the historic city of Cherasco, a renowned city of art and culture, located on the border between the territories of Langhe and Roero.
For this edition, we chose to bring together the flavors of the Piedmontese territory with those of the Sicilian tradition which is the expression of the culinary art developed in Sicily and closely linked to the historical, cultural, and religious events of the island.

Among the representative products of the host territory, oils, selected Monreale DOC vines and typical traditional desserts will stand out.
Throughout the weekend, the tastings will be accompanied by a rich calendar of meetings, presentations and show cooking that will highlight the folklore and traditions that link and differentiate Piedmont and Sicily.

Masterclass on Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Sicily
Three cultivars compared in the Council Room: three identifying territories - considered among the best oils in the world - will be present at Gusta Cherasco, from Etna to the Iblean Mountains, up to and including the westernmost territories of the island with the Val di Mazara.

Masterclass on wine - Barolo from the Western Slope and the great Monreale Doc reds
A story between Langhe and Western Sicily at the Council Hall: the richness of an extraordinary biodiversity which is reflected in niche productions of absolute interest: the wines of the DOC Monreale, a small denomination of great value that will see the participation of eight wineries producing the territory, with two prestigious vines: Catarratto and Sirah.

Tasting of rum, Baci di Cherasco, chocolate from Modica, and Don Papa pralines paired with a cigar under the Mantica Portici. Reserved for an adult audience.

The chocolate journey with tasting
A show made up of stories, anecdotes, legends, and singing. The history, or rather, the "Journey" of chocolate through the centuries, countries and emotions. Food and art, are a perfect combination to involve an audience of enthusiasts but also families and children.
Paola Gula's story and her ability to intersect with the magic and professionalism of Chiara Rosso's voice accompanied on the piano by Maestro Lorenzo Martini.
