How the cards work in 2026

Carta Cultura Giovani

- Amount: €500

- Who it’s for: young people born in 2007, who turned 18 in 2025

- Requirements: ISEE up to €35,000

This card is designed to bring young people closer to culture, both online and live.

Carta del Merito

- Amount: an additional €500

- Can be combined: yes, with Carta Cultura Giovani (up to €1,000 total)

- Who it’s for: students who earned a high school diploma with a score of 100/100 or 100 with honors, before turning 19

Merit is rewarded with an extra bonus to spend on cultural activities.

How to apply for Carta Cultura Giovani and Carta del Merito

You can apply for the cards from January 31, 2026 to June 30, 2026 through the official platform of the Italian Ministry of Culture, using SPID or an Electronic Identity Card (CIE).

The generated vouchers are valid until December 31, 2026.
