Clappit - Podcast - 03 - What you need to get the SIAE permission to open a fiscal event

This is already the third podcast, I'm very happy.

Among other things, for those who had crossed us for the first, you can listen to our previous podcasts. In particular, the first one to understand who we are and what we will say in our podcasts, the second episode in which we have already had the opportunity to talk about different aspects of tax legislation on ticket sales, through certified platforms.

In this third appointment, as anticipated, let's talk about the documents and the data required when you go to open a position in the SIAE office.

Here, I must add a detail that certainly confirms that the SIAE of competence, the SIAE office of competence where you have to go, is related to the venue, the location, the arena, the stadium where it takes place the event. Not to the operational or legal headquarters of the company that produces the event.
So, if a company from Milan wants to sell tickets for an event in Turin, it will go to Turin, at the SIAE office of competence to open the position, to obtain the permission. Or it can do it online and, only with the authorization.

So let's see why the organizer has to show up at the SIAE office.
Clearly, it must notify the desire to open an event, a show event. It must give a series of data requirements necessary to obtain a permit, which will then deliver to the chosen ticketing platform in order to configure the event and finally be able to put the tickets on sale both online and offline.

And since we like to help all the organizers we give you what information is required to obtain the permit.
Of course, the title of the event. Then we have a whole series of data, data and contact details of the companycompany name, VAT number, clearly the name of the venue, then the stadium, the theater, the building with the geographical address, the local code also called BA code, which from a formal point of view, is a numerical code of thirteen digits, which identifies the place, the structure where an event takes place.

It has to be asked directly to the SIAE, without that we remember that it is impossible to configure an event on a ticket platform, because it is mandatory, but unlike the others, you have to go and ask, it is mandatory, the others are compulsory data, of course, but I know them. I know the name of the company, I know where the event is made, I know the time of the event, but here I can not know it, i have to ask for it.

Another data that I can not know, at least, if I'm at the first edition of my event is the reference VAT rate, which derives from the event code.
So the sport will have a code and a VAT rate, the concert will have another one, bowling another one.

I give examples, without going into the specifics, in order to understand the concept as it is. So each type or groups of types of events have a VAT rate, others have another, so it is necessary to know the nature of the show. This is obviously done in SIAE and together they will give you all the necessary information.

An image, a description, here perhaps for the part of the content, this clearly concerns the data required to obtain permission, from the point of view of content, image, social, communication, we could certainly dedicate a specific podcast.

Returning to our permission, we are missing other important data that are the sector, place, so we are talking about a very simple example of a stadium, then the gallery, the stand, the terraces. The rate, which is within each sector. 

So the whole ticket, the reduced-price ticket, but also the early bird. So the price, the presale, the pre-sales and price total,

And finally, the SIAE office can also request data from the ticketing platform that has been chosen .
Each ticket office has a code, a code related to the issuing system, clearly the company name and the VAT number of the system owner.
